In high school, she barely cracked a book yet managed a 3.2 grade point average (GPA). Getting by with little effort changed when she started as a freshman at 麻豆传媒. Kent State Stark will host the tenth annual educational fall celebration for elementary school-aged children from 5 to 7 p.m. at its campus, 6000 Frank Ave. NW in Jackson Township. Melissa Celko, director of Kent State of Wellness, has introduced a new Meditation Across Campus program, in which members of the university community can participate for free. 鈥淭here is a real focus on the humanistic aspect of the quieting of the senses and the mind and allowing the body to find rest,鈥 Ms. Celko told the Record-Courier (www.record-courier.com). Second year students in the occupational therapy assistant (OTA) program at Kent State East Liverpool participated in the annual American Occupational Therapy Assistant Hill Day in Washington, D.C., taking messages straight to the doorsteps of their state representatives. Featured artists Melissa Campbell, Linda Ohrn-McDaniel and Sue Yoder will share how they use digital printing as both a technique and foil for content.
