Following a national search, Âé¶ą´«Ă˝ has selected Mary G. Parker, Ed.D., as its inaugural vice president for enrollment management. Dr. Parker comes to Kent State from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, where she served as associate vice president for enrollment management. She has significant experience in both admissions and enrollment, including more than 26 years of increasingly complex leadership roles in higher education. The Âé¶ą´«Ă˝ Opera Scenes annual fall production will feature a premier of an original opera produced by a student. The Opera Scenes production consists of two opera scenes and the one-act performed by students on Nov. 17 at 7:30 p.m. and Nov. 18 at 3 p.m. in the Wright-Curtis Theater in the Center for the Performing Arts. Students from the Kent State East Liverpool physical therapist assistant program observed National PTA Month by raising funds that were donated to Ava’s Women Center in East Liverpool. The PTA students raised $500 through fundraisers, which will be used to help provide “Blessing Bags” to clients at the center.
