Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Kent State Museum Hosts "Millie" Preview, Flapper Lecture
The Â鶹´«Ă˝ Museum and School of Theatre and Dance are teaming up to present a unique event celebrating the perennial glamor and allure of the 1920s. This special program on Feb. 17 is presented in conjunction with the museum’s “Flapper Style: 1920s Fashion” exhibit and Kent State’s production of “Thoroughly Modern Millie.” The event will include a short preview of “Thoroughly Modern Millie” by members of the cast, followed by a talk by “Flapper Style” curator Sara Hume, Ph.D.
