Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

‘Kent Skates’ Glides Its Way Into Downtown Kent

Kent State Ashtabula Wine Degrees Receive $180,000 Research Grant From Ohio Grape Industries Committee
Kent State Ashtabula’s Viticulture and Enology programs were recently awarded a $180,000 grant from the Ohio Grape Industries Committee for a pair of research projects to be conducted over the next two years. Kent State Ashtabula is partnering with the Ashtabula Agricultural Research Station, a division of the Ohio State University College of Food, Agricultural and Environmental Sciences’ Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center, to conduct the projects at Markko Vineyards in Conneaut, Ohio.

Âé¶¹´«Ã½â€™s Brain Health Research Institute celebrated the grand opening of its new lab spaces on Friday, Nov. 5, with an afternoon of activities that included a keynote presentation, space dedication, tours and student research demonstrations. The new space, featuring interdisciplinary research facilities, is located on the lower level of the Integrated Sciences Building on the Kent Campus.
KENT STATE SENIOR EXPERIENCES ENRICHED EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES IN ZOOLOGY
The Honors College continues to provide programs, experiences and advice to ensure that honors students have everything they need to succeed upon graduation. This includes assisting honors students in securing internships within their chosen degree field of study and recognizing their efforts with Honors College credit hours. Internships provide students an opportunity to gain experience in their field of study (at least 150 hours) while receiving 3 internal Honors College credit hours. The goal of this project is to provide students with an enriched educational experience to prepare them for the outside world after graduation.
