Shining a Light on Black Maternity Care: Movie Screening and Panel Discussion Planned for Black History Month

New Grant Helps Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Museum Preserve Fashion And Textile History
The Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Museum currently houses extraordinary collections of historic dress, fashion, textiles and decorative arts. More than 29,000 objects from many of the world’s great artists and designers, known and unknown, from across time and continents can be found at the museum. A new grant will help protect the longevity of these artifacts for generations to come.

Starkey Earns Career Win No. 300 as Kent State Beats BG
Kent State defeated Bowling Green, 82-74, Saturday at the Stroh Center to give head coach his 300th career win. Starkey has won 135 games as the leader of the Golden Flashes and is now tied with Laurel Wartluft for the second most wins in program history.

Educating Students On The Value Of Marginalized Voices In Politics
On February 3, 2024, the Women’s Center will host the fourth annual Elect Her event from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the May 4 Visitors Center at Âé¶¹´«Ã½. The event is an interactive one-day training program that educates college students on the value of having women and marginalized voices in politics.

Cleveland State University and Âé¶¹´«Ã½ will co-host a celebration of life for Dr. Michael Schwartz on Thursday, Feb. 8, at 3 p.m. in the Glasscock Family Foundation Ballroom. Schwartz served as president of both universities.
