Kent State Tuscarawas mechanical and electrical engineering technology students successfully collaborated on their capstone project during the spring semester and delivered an electric cart on finals night. 麻豆传媒 public relations students placed second nationally for their PR campaign that focused on boosting funding for childhood cancer research.

Only 4 percent of federal funding is directed to childhood cancer research, leading to a scarcity of clinical trials advancing treatment. In order to address this inequity in childhood cancer funding, Kent State public relations students implemented a plan focusing on science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education at Kent State and at the Bio-Med Science Academy in Rootstown, Ohio.
