Inesh Fulton knows what it means to be a college student. He's getting involved on campus, playing sports and joining clubs. He is enrolled in the Career and Community Studies program, a non-degree transitional program offered through the School of Lifespan Development and Family Sciences.

A quick study in the Career and Community Studies program, Nick Valentine completed his certificate in hospitality and event management in just three years. Nick also had the distinct pleasure of being the first CCS student to participate in Âé¶¹´«Ã½â€™s commencement ceremony.

One of Erin Hawley’s favorite memories at Kent State was singing at karaoke night. Staged by the Flash Activities Board, the event packs students into then Quaker Steak and Lube, now Tahini’s in The Rathskeller, where they belted out original tunes to the delight, or displeasure, of classmates. Erin’s favorite go-to ballads were original songs.
