Lauren joined the Honors College in 2017 and is currently the Coordinator II of Advising in the Honors College at Kent State. Lauren coordinates honors advising, manages the honors DKS, serves as the staff mentor for Alpha Lambda Delta, and coordinates the Phi Beta Kappa Chapter. Please join us in congratulating Lauren!

With 13+ years of advising experience—including 7.5 years at Kent State’s Honors College—Theresa’s impact on students is undeniable. Parking permits can be renewed online through Friday, May 16, 2025. After May 16, permits can be purchased in person in the Parking Services office located in room 123 Schwartz Center. For permit renewal assistance contact Parking Services at 330-672-4432 or by email at parking@kent.edu.

In October, Susan Willeke of the Ohio Ethics Commission presented Ethics Training for Public University Employees to Kent State staff. Because the university is committed to reinforcing the importance of our ethical obligations as a public institution, the Office of General Counsel has made that recording available to anyone who was unable to attend. The Office of General Counsel is always available to answer any questions or concerns regarding ethical issues or dilemmas. 

We are excited to launch the 2025 Performance Management Review Cycle for classified and unclassified employees. As you may recall, Â鶹´«Ã½ switched platforms this past fall from viDesktop to PageUp Performance. Performance management is intended to create an ongoing dialogue for supervisors and employees to review job duties, assess job performance, discuss career goals and more. The 2025 Performance Management Cycle will launch by end of day May 5, 2025, and run through July 31, 2025.
