The Âé¶¹´«Ã½ alumni family will grow by more than 1,000 new graduates from its eight-campus system across Ohio as the university holds its summer commencement ceremony. The accomplishments of the Summer Class of 2025 will be recognized with a commencement ceremony at 10 a.m. on Aug. 9. The commencement ceremony will be livestreamed at www.kent.edu/commencement.
In total, 1,032 degrees will be conferred this summer, consisting of 130 associate degrees, 527 bachelor’s degrees, 320 master’s degrees, 52 doctoral degrees and three educational specialist degrees.

More than 600 of the graduating students from the Kent Campus and Regional Campuses have confirmed their participation in the in-person commencement ceremony.
During the commencement ceremony, graduating students will hear from Kent State President Todd Diacon and Executive Vice President and Provost Melody Tankersley. Graduating students will also receive individual name recognition and participate in the conferral of degrees and tassel turning ceremony.
The Aug. 9 ceremony for all colleges and degrees will be held at the Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center on the Kent Campus.
To participate in commencement, graduating students had to complete their ceremony RSVP by July 7. Each graduating student who registered for commencement has tickets for their commencement ceremony guests to attend.
